Empowering the Essence of India
A Unified Approach to Women’s Metabolic Health
What is it?
“As medical professionals, we often see women navigating a complex web of hormonal and metabolic challenges—from the onset of puberty to the transition into menopause. Historically, these issues have been treated in silos. However, the modern Indian woman faces unique metabolic stressors that require a synchronized effort between Gynaecology and Endocrinology.
The Women’s Metabolic Health Foundation of India (WMHFI) was born from a simple yet urgent necessity: to bridge this gap. Our foundation is built on the belief that a woman’s metabolic health is the cornerstone of her overall well-being and, by extension, the health of her family and our nation.
Through our CME programs, we aim to empower the medical fraternity with the latest evidence-based clinical protocols. Simultaneously, through our Awareness Camps, we are committed to reaching the doorstep of every woman—ensuring that conditions like PCOS, Gestational Diabetes, and Thyroid disorders are detected early and managed with dignity.
I invite my fellow clinicians, researchers, and social advocates to join us in this movement. Together, we can ensure that every woman in India has the metabolic resilience to lead a healthy, vibrant life.”
